if you are new then something like Fruityloops might be good. It comes with a synth. The all-in-one packages like Orion are pretty good as well.

Chord Symbol/Bass note

I wish I knew if there is a way to make the slash bigger on chord symbols which have a slash then a special bass note. Encore 4.0 has a tiny slash practical illegible. (Example, not from Encore; Cm7/F)

Cubase/G4 audio problem

Hi
I have recently upgraded to Cubase 5 and am suffering a strange audio problem on my G4/OS9.2/512M. Whenever I try and trigger audio within Cubase the sound is all crackly/distorted.
Strangely this problem is also affecting the audio output from Melodyne as well. My other audio software plays audio fine so I know its not a hardware problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem and does anyone have a solution? Thanks a lot

Pop-ups removed from this site!

Those of you who are regulars to this site may have
already noticed that we have reduced the number of
pop-up windows on this web site by just over 95%.

We have done this after long discussions here in this
forum, in the office at Hitsquad, and with advertisers.

I can't promise we have found a permanent solution but
for the time being at least we are hoping to be able to
replace the lost pop-up ad income from other sources.
This is many thousands of dollars per month so we will
have to replace that revenue quickly to keep the pop-ups
away, and you can help...

Everyone using this site can help this process by
becoming a <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/membersonly/?mboard" target="_top">Member</a> and by supporting the advertisers and
sponsors on this site - without them this free music
resource wouldn't be here.

There will still be a small number of pop-ups and
pop-unders but nothing like there were before, and
members don't even get these.

Please provide your feedback here, as you know I read
these messages every day - even if I don't have time to
respond to all of them.

We are now testing a new type of ad which is a
250 pixel square image that slides in from the
side of the screen.

It's only running on a few pages at the moment
including the <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/">front page</a>.

They will only show up once in a 12 hour period
and you can refresh the page to make it go away
if you want to.

Let us know what feedback you have if you see them.
If they prove to be successful they could replace
pop-ups and allow us to continue running all the
free services without having to reintroduce pop-ups.

I am a social dancer. I resently went to the metradome in San Francisco. I saw a program they where running for their music. It look like a good system. It was called Music Machine. Does any one know anything about this program.
