is there a software that will allow me to record a full cd without gaps in the tracks for example, most of my cd that i own are continuous tracks and when i try to copy it onto another cd i get gaps in the songs .i want it to be the same as the cd im trying to copy

hey there cynthia. the problem is most likely the method that you are burning the cd.

if you burn a cd with "track at once" method, it has to turn off the laser in-between tracks.

you should look for an option in your software called "disc at once" (or DAO). This will be able to duplicate your cd without the track-gaps

hope this info helps ... now if someone would answer my damn question :)

most cd recording software can convert mp3->cda on-the-fly while it is burning. i recommend NERO @ http://www.ahead.de

Over the weekend the software that runs this board
crashed causing threads to be jumbled and many of
the replies disappeared.

We've now restored most of the discussion threads
so if you look down the message board you will see
many detailed discussions with lots of responses.

There's a serial number that is needed to get the software running. But you can't have mine because I PAID for it.

i have just downloaded cubase from your site and double clicked on it, the winzip program came up an told me to unzip it so i did, after i unziped it, i double clicked on it to open cubase but a box came up aking me to selsct a program that i want to open it with, i tried a few but none of them worked and i thort to myself, "isn't cubase a program itself!" so how can i open the cubase once i have downloaded it??

Sorry - the technology doesn't yet exist to reliably
extract the vocals from a recording.

I have some music in various formats, including MP2,
real and a few other more common formats. I have either
traded or given away my original CDs. I need to convert
them into MP3 or WAVE to put them on CDs. Is there a cheap
or free software that can do that? Thanks a lot
